Obituary for Paul James Vonderhaar
Paul James Vonderhaar, 47, husband of Marilyn Orndorff Vonderhaar, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Born in Cold Springs, KY, he was the son o James B. Vonderhaar and the late June France Vonderhaar.
A carpenter with Local Union 1650, he enjoyed cooking as well as repairing old gun and knives. He was an avid outdoorsman, whether hunting, fishing or kayaking and was a proud veteran of United States Air Force.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his daughter, Gloria June Vonderhaar; brother, Keith Vonderhaar; sisters, Ginger (John) Wolfzorn, Jean (Bill) Baker and Nancy (Steve) Cocroft; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 12 PM Friday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY. Casket bearers will be Aaron Cecil, Keith Vonderhaar, Robbie Ward, Zach Martin, Caleb Baker, Joshua Baker, Daniel Orndorff and Jeff Dryer. Visitation will be 9:30-11 AM Friday at Johnson’s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076.
