Jackie Lee “Bumper” Fite, 62, husband of Pamela (Ward) Fite. Passed away on Monday, May 20th, 2019. He was born on February 23rd, 1957 in Mt. Olivet, Kentucky, son of the late Napoleon and Lily (Curtis) Fite. In addition to his wife, Jackie is survived by his daughter, Linnea (Scott) Jones; three grandchildren, Austen Alexander Jones, Kaylee Ann Jones and Harrison Allen Scott; three sisters, Mary Lucille Fite (Marvin) Cracraft, Rosa Lee Fite (Gary) Wright, Evelyn Fite (Lanny) Hitt; four brothers, Junior Wilson (Judy) Fite; Eugene Fite, Glenn Elwood Fite and Bobbie Wayne Fite. Jackie was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and was a custodian for Lemons Mill Elementary School. He enjoyed deer hunting, riding his ATV and shooting his firearms at target practice. Besides his parents, Jackie was preceded in death by one sister, Birtie Mae Fite Jones; one brother, Larry Dean “Dino” Fite. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home, where services will be held on Thursday at 1pm with Pastor Darrell Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
