Clara Katherine “Kathy” (White) Carter, 58, passed away on Wednesday, June 19th, 2019. She was born on April 22nd, 1961 in Georgetown, Kentucky, daughter of the late Luther White and Stella Athene (Burgess) Cook. Kathy was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church and had been the night auditor for Ramada Inn in Alabama. She was a champ at Bingo and enjoyed playing games on her phone any chance she could. Kathy was a diehard optimist and she loved and adored her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Bruce (Sydney) Carter; two daughters, Amanda Jones and Brandi (Michael King) Carter; seven grandchildren, Michael King II, Katherine Jones, Kyle King, Carter Jones, Clara McNeese, Aaron King and Tommy King; her sister, Bonnie Hafley; one brother, Jimmy White. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by two brothers, Steven White and Luther White Jr. Visitation will be on Monday, June 24th, from Noon until time of service at 1pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home with Reverend Connie Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Bruce Carter, Larry Jones, Dale Caswell, Michael King, Michael McNeese and Tyler Harris. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Michael King II, Carter Jones and Trent Goldy.
