Obituary for Brenda Sue Bailey
Brenda Sue Wilson Bailey, 70, widow of Vernon Lee Bailey, SR, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019 in Lexington. Born in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Roberts Cochran and Virgil Wilson.
Brenda was the office manager for iEntry and was formerly with Pro Metrics. She enjoyed visiting the Smokey Mountains and always looked forward to her time with her grandchildren and dogs.
She is survived by her children, Connie (Raymond) Rose and Vernon Bailey, Jr, both of Lexington; brother, Donald (Brenda) Wilson, Crab Orchard, KY; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jerri Rose; sister, Geraldine Murray; and brother, Robert “Bo” Wilson and Virgil Wilson, Jr.
A memorial service will be11:30 AM Wednesday at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery.
