Irene (White) Aines, 81, wife of Otis Edward “Ed” Aines, passed away on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019. Irene was born on March 19th, 1938 in Estill County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Elias and Bessie (Edmonson) White. Irene retired from First Security Bank and Trust Department. She was a dedicated member of The Old Paris Road Church of God, where she loved teaching Sunday school class and the Young Adults Class. In addition to her devoted husband of sixty-one years, Irene is survived by two daughters, Peggy Aines-Strong and Teresa (Billy) Barnes; three grandchildren, Jeb Barnes, Chelsea Barnes and Jacob Strong; one great-granddaughter, Rowen Barnes; one brother, Boyd White. Besides her parents, Irene was preceded in death by one brother, Cloyd White. Visitation will be Thursday, October 24th, from 5 to 8pm at The Old Paris Road Church of God, 1859 Old Paris Road, Lexington, where services will be held on Friday at 1pm with Reverend Jack Whitaker, Reverend Joseph Grant and Reverend Tony Prince officiating. Burial will be at Eaton Cemetery in Clay City, Kentucky. Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Strong, Greg Aines, Gary Lamb, Dostell Lamb, Wesley Lamb and Conner Lamb.
