Obituary for Linda Kay "Pinky" Fizer

Linda “Pinky” Kay Fizer, 72, passed away on Monday, May 18th, 2020, following her courageous fight with multiple illnesses for several years. She was born on September 7th, 1947 in Georgetown, Kentucky, daughter of the late Jack and Hazel (Johnson) Dunn. Linda had been the accountant for Treasure Isles and was the manager of Warehouse Drug Store. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church of Lexington. Linda loved to sing karaoke, where she earned her stage name “Pinky”. She enjoyed cooking, reading, flowers, camping at the Kentucky Horse Park, listening to Patsy Cline and spending time with her children, grandchildren and additional family and friends. Linda is survived by three daughters, Connie (Sean) Haney, Bonnie (Larry) Kidd and Gina (Chano) Moreno; her son, Michael (Jessie) Dunn; eleven grandchildren, Nick (Mikhail Proctor) McDowell, Shawn (Sarah) Kidd, Tara Kidd, Heather (James) Ennis, James (Amanda) Peacock, Juana Moreno, Jessica (Selena) Moreno, Lindsay Peacock, Blake, Ava and Mya; twelve great-grandchildren; her brother, Jack (Cheryl) Dunn; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Elena Kidd; two sisters, Birdie Land and Ruby Matthews. Visitation will be Friday from 11am until 1pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home. To abide by the regulations set forth by the state, we ask that all who attend the visitation please wear a mask and observe social distancing during the visitation. Services will be private. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery with Dr. Greg Waltermire officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Nick McDowell, Mikhail Proctor, Shawn Kidd, Chad Blankenship, Sean Haney, Larry Kidd and Chano Moreno.
