In the words of a poem for his Mamo from her grandson (Marc) in 2003:
On Mother’s Day we celebrate the way our mothers are
Never thinking about how they came this far
The answer’s simple right in front of our nose
The one whose wisdom still shines bright
Like the beauty of a rose
It’s our grandmother who made our wonderful mother’s this way
Who always bring joy to us each and every day
Even though today we think to celebrate our own mother
We need to remember we’d have no joy
If it weren’t for our mothers’ mother…….
