Joe Cannon “Trea” Johnson III, 52, passed away on Monday, March 1st, 2021. He was born September 2nd, 1968 in Lexington, Kentucky, son of Joe Johnson Jr. and Linda Davis Baird. Trea was a roofer with Clyde Roofing and he enjoyed fishing, video games, playing the lottery and riding his horse Bandit many years ago. In addition to his parents, Trea is survived by his daughter, Emma Johnson; his two sons, Zachariah Johnson and Jeremiah Johnson; five grandchildren, Kaleb Johnson, Madison Johnson, Lily Johnson, Penny Johnson and Brandon Ford; his sister Tamara (Wayne) Yeager; his brother, Clyde Earl Johnson; his niece, Rachael (Mike) Lasley; his nephews, Matthew (Charlotte) Yeager and Johnny Bill (Rebecca) Yeager; his great-nieces and nephews, Gabriel Jones, Loreli Yeager, Isaiah Lasley, Abigail Lasley, Kaylee Yeager, Adelynn Yeager and Jackson Yeager. Trea’s Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at 2pm at Safe Harbor Fellowship, 519 Gano Avenue with Pastor Andy Waldroup officiating.
