Obituary for Evelyn Louise Fields (Hausberger)

Evelyn Louise Hausberger Fields, 87, widow of Donald Ray Fields, passed away on Sunday, April 11th, 2021 surrounded by her family. Evelyn was born on January 5th, 1934 in Harrison County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Martin Hausberger and Lucille (Rankin) Simpson. Evelyn was a member of Connersville Christian Church and she enjoyed working crossword puzzles in her free time. Evelyn retired from The Kentucky Farm Bureau where she served as Agency Manager for many years. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah (David) Jones and Susan B. (Steve) Reaves; two grandchildren, Leslie (Paul) Waddelow and Christopher (Brittany) Jones; six great-grandchildren, Amelia Waddelow, Emma Waddelow, Kade Jones, Creighton Jones, Anneliese Jones and Crew Jones; two sisters, Sally (Mike) Tinnel and Lisa Tungate; her brother, Carl Eugene Hausberger; her beloved dog Chloe. In addition to her husband and parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ralph Phillips; one brother, James Hausberger, one sister-in-law, Betty Jo Hausberger and one brother-in-law, Niles Tungate. Visitation will be Thursday, April 15th, at Johnson’s Funeral Home from 11am until time of service at 1pm with Brother Paul Waddelow and Brother Warren French officiating. Burial will be in Battlegrove Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Jones, Creighton Jones, Kade Jones, Rick Woolums, John Smoot, Mike Tinnel and Darin Hausberger. Memorial contributions may be directed to Connersville Christian Church, 2190 KY-1842, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
