Obituary for Carolyn Sue Holcomb
Carolyn Sue Holcomb, 65, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021. Born in Oldham County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Jackie Holcomb and Mildred Downey Wainscott.
A long-time member of Penn Memorial Baptist Church, she enjoyed painting, gardening and creating braided flower pots. She was known for being able to fix anything but her true passion was her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Miller, Linda Naimo and Lesa Burton; sister, Sharon Holcomb; seventeen grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, Ronnie Moore and Rhonda Moore; as well as siblings, David Holcomb and Henrietta Blevins.
Visitation will be 10 AM – 1 PM Thursday at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2 PM Thursday at Masonic Cemetery, Stamping Ground, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Penn Memorial Baptist Church.
