Misty Rose Vance, 38, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021. She was born on January 18, 1983 in Georgetown Kentucky, daughter of the late Deidre Dawn (Kelly) Vance and Steven Vance. Misty was a Scott County High School graduate. She enjoyed life and dearly loved her brother, Christopher Allen Vance. In addition to her brother and father, Misty is survived by Dennis Smith, who was like a father to her; her aunts and uncles, Carrie (Mike) Gaines, Lee (Tammy) Kelly, Bo (Melissa) Kelly, Barbara Sharp, Billy Vance and Judy (Mike) Osborne; her special caregiver, Kuna; numerous cousins and friends. Besides her mother, Misty was preceded in death by her sister, Christy Marie Vance. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 20 from 5pm to 8pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home, where services will be held on Thursday at 11am. Burial will be at Georgetown Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Vance, Bo Kelly, Brandon Gaines, Lee Kelly, Dennis Smith, Larry Jones and Steve Smith.
