Obituary for Stella Rhea Roland
Stella Rhea Roland, cherished wife of Brian Roland, went into the arms of Jesus on Monday, January 2, 2023, surrounded by her family. Throughout her illness, she boldly shared her faith in hopes of leading others to the Lord. Born February 2, 1963, she was the daughter of Duane Torok and Peggy Torok, as well as the late Beulah Torok.
Stella retired from Toyota in Georgetown. It was here she found the love of her life in her husband, Brian. A true love story out of a movie, she often said she “Notebook” loved him. She had many friends and could light up an entire room with her huge personality and infectious laugh.
She enjoyed traveling, cooking for her family, attending Luke Bryan concerts, visiting the lake, and most of all- spending time with her Grandchildren. She was a devoted MoMo and her Grandsons were the center of her world.
Stella is survived by her husband, Brian Roland; daughter Brittany (Tyler) Wright; sons Matthew and Zachary (Linda) Roland; parents Duane and Peggy Torok; brother Michael Torok; grandchildren Memphis and Brooks Wright; many special aunts, uncles, and cousins and her lifelong best friend, Tammy Colwell, as well as other precious friends.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday at Grace Christian Church and 11 AM Thursday till funeral service at 1 PM at Grace Christian Church. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Serving as casket bearers will be Tyler Wright, Zachary Roland, Matthew Roland, Michael Torok, Landon Wright, and Derrick Tompkins. Honorary pallbearers are Memphis and Brooks Wright.
The family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the incredible amount of prayers that have been said for Stella. The kindness that has been shown to our family has meant the world. We’d also like to thank Stella’s hospice nurse, Kim Lewis for the care she provided and the compassion she showed our family.
