Obituary for Betty Jo Combs
Betty Jo Campbell Combs, 82, of Georgetown, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 in Georgetown, KY. Betty was born September 22, 1940 in hazard, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Combs; her parents, Earl and Ruth Campbell; and her brother, Gene Campbell.
Betty worked as a florist and was a wonderful homemaker. She was a member of the Zion Temple First Pentecostal Church in Cincinnati, OH.
She is survived by a host of family and friends who will miss her kindness and humor. We are comforted by the fact that she is reunited with her beloved husband, Marvin, her parents and brother.
Graveside services will be 1 PM Thursday at Riverside Cemetery, Hazard, KY. Visitation will be 12 PM till 1 PM Thursday at Engle-Bowling Funeral Home, Hazard, KY.
