Obituary for Jackie Lewis Johnson
Jackie Lewis Johnson, 81, widower of Charlotte Grubbs Johnson, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023. Born in Scott County, KY, he was the son of the late Everett and Sylvia Mae Tackett Johnson.
A retired maintenance technician with Hoover Ball & Bearing, then Johnson Controls, he was an avid UK fan and enjoyed time with his family. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, fishing and hunting as well.
He is survived by his children, Kevin Lewis Johnson and Karen (Randall) Johnson; brothers, Everett (Pat) Johnson and Leron H (Pam) Johnson; grandchildren, Adam Christopher Simpson and Sara Shapaka. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Brent Johnson, Jamie Hoffman, Tyler Johnson, Shawn Johnson, Jesse Lee Butcher and Justin Hale. Visitation will be 11 AM till service time.
