Obituary for Torren Kent Colcord
Torren Kent Colcord, 52, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023. Born in Salt Lake City, UT, he was the son of the late Robert William and Helen Louis Bing Colcord.
An Army veteran, he was instrumental in forming and leading labor unions. He enjoyed working on cars, playing the drums, loved politics, and was very patriotic. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he was known for constantly helping others in need.
He is survived by his children, Linzia Colcord, Bailie Colcord, Ashlyn Colcord and Emerson Colcord; sister, Mistell Bergman; brothers, Charles William Randall, Kipton Russell Colcord and Robin Noel Colcord; as well as the mother of his children, Kristene Colcord. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Hunter Colcord; and brother, Steratt Colcord.
Funeral services will be 12 PM Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (215 Wellington Way). Visitation will be 10 AM till service time. Additional services and burial will take place in Reno, NV.
