Obituary for Karen Kay Wells (Bellamy)
Karen Kay Wells, 50, wife of Lucas Wells, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Born in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Harlan and Geneva Crawford Bellamy.
A sales associate at KOI, she enjoyed bird watching and flower gardening.
IN addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Amanda (Daniel) Withrow, Stamping Ground, KY; Lance Wells, Curtis (Kasey) Wells, both of Cynthiana and Matt (Amanda) Wells, Lawrenceburg; sisters Toni Plowman, Nicholasville and Debbie Shadd, Cynthiana; grandchildren, Jessie and Nicholas Withrow, Madison and Autumn Wells, Amelia Wells; as well as two grandchildren due soon, one to be named Kylie Ava Wells.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Casket bearers will be Michael Northcutt, Rusty Crosthwaite, Greg Crosthwaite, Mike Fisher, Allen Butcher and Craig Ruth. Honorary bearers will be Mary Ellen Crosthwaite, Mary Sue Crosthwaite, Rhonda Cross and Becky Wilson. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Friday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
