Obituary for Laura Jean Martin Isaacs

Laura Jean Martin Isaacs, 59 of Rucker Avenue, homemaker and wife of Michael Isaacs died Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at her home.
A native of Burlington, Vermont, she was the daughter of Mary H. Morse Martin, Duxbury, VT and the late Colonel Elmer C. Martin. She was a graduate of the Peabody Music Conservatory, Baltimore MD and attended Old Union Christian Church, Lexington.
Survivors besides her husband and mother include 2 sisters, Denise A. Hughlett and Regina M. Bordeaux, both of Duxbury, VT and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Saturday at Johnson’s Funeral Home by Rev. Scott and Susan Winkler. Burial will be in Old Union Christian Church Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Marilyn Adams, Frankie C. Johnson, Elizabeth Johnson-Jones, Debbie Secrest, Mame Quan, Barbie Minch and Betty Murphy. Visitation will be 10:00AM Saturday until time of services.
