Obituary for Donald Wayne Duncan

Donald Wayne Duncan, 66, passed away Monday, October 13th, 2014. He was born May 5, 1948 in Georgetown, Kentucky, son of the late Porter C. Duncan and Dorothy (Tackett) Duncan Vance. Donald served in the United States Army. He was a member of Central Church of God and the Elkhorn Bass Fishing Club. He was currently working in program sales at Keeneland. Donald is survived by his two sons, Jonathan (Richelle) Duncan and Jason Duncan; two grandchildren, Riley and Reagan Duncan; one brother, Porter A. (Anita) Duncan; the mother of his children, Susan Mefford; his nephew and nieces. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Duncan. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8pm at Johnson's Funeral Home, where services will be held on Thursday at 12:30pm with Pastor Sam Glenn officiating. Committal services will be held at 2:30pm Thursday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, 6614 Danville Road, Nicholasville, Kentucky. Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Duncan, Jason Duncan, Jim Bohnhoff, Kerry Fryman, Kevin Rexroat, Mike Walters, Rick Ralston and Chad Wallen. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association.
