I am very sorry to learn of your deep loss. May the God of all comfort, comfort and sustain you during this grievous time. When Jesus' friend Lazarus died, Jesus wept when he observed the pain that loss caused Lazarus' friends and family. God is aware of your pain. He has put in place a means to deliver us from sin and death. (John 11:25) God's Holy Words state: "He is going to swallow up death forever." (Isaiah 25:8) God also promises: "the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." (Isaiah 26:19) This opens up for us the possibility of being reunited with our deceased loved ones, right here on earth under perfect conditions. (Rev. 21:3,4 & Mark 5:39,42) May reflecting on the fulfillment of these wonderful promises bring your family much solace.
