Isabella Mary Teresa Brandle Hensley, 90, died peacefully at her home in Georgetown on Tuesday. She was born February 26, 1926 in Altoona, PA, the daughter of the late Herman and Isabella Mary Johnston Brandle.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Claude Everett Hensley, Jr and Robert David Hensley; grandson, Gary Lee “Chip” Hensley, Jr; her former husband, Claude Everett Hensley, Sr; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Isy is survived by her children, Linda Welch, Gary (Chuck) Hensley, Patsy (Jim) Pettus and Donnie (Sheila) Hensley; grandchildren, Julie (Glen) Drury, Sarah Hensley, Joe (Jeri) Hensley, Ryan (Christie) Pettus, Ariel Carrigan, Heath (Jessica) Hensley, Haley (John) Switzer, Chris (Kennethea) Hensley and Alex Hensley; as well as 28 great grandchildren.

Devoted to her family, she enjoyed flower gardening, various crafts and quilting.

A memorial service will be 3 PM Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery, Stamping Ground, KY. Visitation will be 1 PM till service time. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
