Obituary for Wanda Lou Dixon (Bowman)

Wanda Lou (Bowman) Dixon, 82, widow of Harold David Dixon, passed away Wednesday, September 13th, 2017. She was born August 23rd, 1935 in Georgetown, Kentucky, daughter of the late Cecil and Hattie (Gillispe) Bowman. Wanda is survived by one daughter, Kay Downs; four grandchildren, Brian (Tammy) Power, David Lee Power, Chad (Crystal) Downs and Bradley (Brandi) Downs; six great-grandchildren, Taylor Downs, Lexi Downs, Braxton Power, Kayleigh Downs, Hunter Downs and Avery Downs; one sister, Joyce (Willie) Dishman; one brother, Cecil (Debbie) Bowman, Jr. In addition to her husband, Wanda was preceded in death by two daughters, Patty Power and Pamela Renee Chipley; two sons, Roger Power and James Lee Power; one sister, Mary DeRossitt; one brother, Bobby Bowman. Visitation will be Friday, September 15th from 5 to 8pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home, where services will be held on Saturday at 11am. Burial will be at Georgetown Cemetery.
