Click here to view all obituariesWe understand that wood is not for everyone. With that in mind, we also offer three types of metal caskets; steel, stainless steel and premium metal (copper and bronze) to meet both the satisfaction and economical needs of the family.
Each steel casket is formed from a single sheet of steel, for added strength and beauty. A continuous seam secures the casket bottom to ensure its structural integrity. We offer carbon steel caskets in three primary thicknesses—16 gauge (thickest), 18 gauge (middle), and 20 gauge (thinnest).
Stainless steel caskets are rust resistant and constructed of either premium or basic grades. Premium, which is the finest grade of stainless steel available in the industry, contains chromium and nickel. Basic stainless steel does not offer the added protection of chromium and nickel.
Some families choose bronze because it is superior to all other casket material in strength and durability. Both bronze and copper are naturally resistant to rust as well.
Below are examples of 20 gauge steel, 18 gauge steel, stainless steel and copper caskets available. We offer many styles and colors; if you are interested in any of our units, please feel free to come by our office or call us at 502-863-3550.
