Brenda Ruth Wright, 69, widow of Robert D. Wright, passed away Sunday, July 24th, 2016. She was born July 4th, 1947 in Georgetown, Kentucky, daughter of the late James Robert and Geneva B. (Marshall) Farris. Brenda was a member of Victory Life Church. She loved to play cards every Friday night with her family. Brenda is survived by her son, Larry (Tina Davis) Treadway; two step-sons, Robert (Donna) Wright, Jr. and Adam Wright; one step-daughter, Tonya (Vernon) McKinney; seven grandchildren, Wilder Treadway, Holden Treadway, Justin Combs, Michael Gross, Kendra Gross, Jordan Wright and her “honorary granddaughter”, Katelyn Davis; her brother, Lanny (Donna) Farris; two nieces, Jenna Carr and Shalene Negron; her nephew, Robbie Farris; several beloved cousins, additional nieces and nephews and dear friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 26th, from 5 to 8pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home, where services will be held 11am on Wednesday with Pastor Tim Turner officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Moss, Sydney Hensley, Michael Gross, Ronnie Conrad, Eugene Warren and Donald Norman. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Rick Myhand and the staff at the Infusion Center and the nurses and staff at Georgetown Community Hospital for their devoted care to Brenda and the entire family.
