Obituary for Betty Marie Ison
A member of the First Church of God in Stonewall, she was the former owner of Lollipop Land Daycare. She later served as a clerk at Wal-Mart and enjoyed fishing.
In addition to her husband of 64 years, she is survived by her children, Karen Jo (Patrick) Soard, Paris, KY, Bobby (Teresa) Ison, Sumter, SC and Darrell (Lisa) Ison, Georgetown; sister, Emma Jean Keith, Owenton; as well as four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Ronnie Gayle Ison and Terry Wayne Ison; sisters, Opal Whitaker and Bernice Marshall; and brothers, Kenneth, Gordon, Charles and Jay Crupper.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday at Johnson’s Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor James Hendrix. Burial will follow in the Crupper & Gillispie Cemetery, Sadieville, KY. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday.
