I grew up across the street from Herb, and he was my classmate through high school. In the 56 years since graduation, I have not yet met a nicer person. Just a great guy.

Charlotte and family, my wife and I would like to offer our deepest condolence for your loss. I have been thinking through out the day of all the good times we had as we were growing up. Here are a few. I still remember a brown Ford Fairlane he had and him wrecking it, not saying it was a good thing, but was an important time in his life. I remember watching Herb and Bill playing baseball and softball all the time. We mowed a lot of grass. Herb will surely be miss as he was one of a kind. Take care and we will keep you and the family in our prayers.
