(The Rev. Ray Brown
Nancy was blessed with a generous and caring soul. She was a major force for good in Georgetown and Scott County and at The Church of the Holy Trinity, where she served as treasurer for many years. Nancy was the driving force behind the church's decision to donate land for the building of the present home of the Georgetown Child Development Center. She is also responsible for the church's sponsorship of a complex of apartments for low income individuals and families.
She had a quick wit and an inquisitive mind. Nancy genuinely cared about other people, whether friends or strangers. She did not wear her Christian faith as an ornament, but she was a person who exemplified Christian virtue. Like so many others, I shall miss her. May light perpetual shine upon her. May her soul rest in peace.
